Everything about your client in one case file
A case file belongs to one client. You add companies and people with their role, such as director, shareholder or representative, and record the UBO structure. Screenings, documents, notes, actions and reports all land in the same file.
What your client fills in, uploads and signs in the client portal goes in too. Pick the type of file when you create it, and the case handler and reviewer are set straight away through your assignment rules.
What the Wwft asks of the case file
The Wwft is the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act. Article 3(2) Wwft sets out what client due diligence must achieve, from identifying the client and the ultimate beneficial owner to the purpose of the relationship and ongoing monitoring through periodic screening. The case file gives each part a fixed step. For a politically exposed person, the source of wealth declaration under Article 8(6) is added.
Article 33 Wwft requires you to keep the documents and data you used for five years after the relationship ends. RiskResolve keeps the case file and the activity log. Four-eyes approval is an internal control many firms put in their policy.
